In the past two weeks new developments have come in about the Wembley point woman last conversation before she sadly killed herself.
This mystery begins at the Wembley Point Tower on harrow road in Wembley. The tower itself boasts of 21 floors and the triangle building sticks out like a sore thumb waiting to be soothed. The Wembley point tower was basically a large building occupied by many businesses for a multitude of reasons, it now boasts itself as a residential tower with amenities. So, as you can imagine back in 2004 when the building was busy with staff, 9am in the building was quite active with people coming into start their shift.
On the morning of the 29 of October 2004, the Wem tower woman, arrived at the ground floor lifts, as she waited and entered the lift, two other people noticed her distressed state.
It has been quoted in the paper that one of the people who had seen the Wem tower woman in the elevator on the morning of her death made a comment that will probably live with them for ever. Before the person exited the lift they told her cheer up love, it might never happen. If this is true, I can’t imagine the guilt that person must have felt after being so cold to someone who clearly was struggling.
Truly, you never know what someone is going through and to this day we are still trying to figure out what the Wem tower woman was going through. As this person left the elevator, the Wem tower woman remained in the elevator and continued to the 21st floor, the very top floor.
On this floor there was a workplace canteen called Café 21. The canteen was not really a public café and it was mainly used by people working in the tower block. Back in 2004, you could also smoke up here too, so as you can imagine it was quite a regular place for some. As some finished for the day, they would leave the daily paper behind for others to read, like most workplace canteens. The Wem tower woman enter, purchased a coffee and grabbed the guardian newspaper, she lit up her final cigarette and took her last sip of coffee as she opens the newspaper.
The Wem tower woman, for some reason then stood on the table of the building, opened one of the large windows and jumped to her demise.
As workers tried to come to terms with what had happened, officers tried to obtain the woman’s identity but nobody recognised who she may have been. But there are some clues to help us maybe understand why the Wem tower woman visited Wembley point that day.

Taking a look at the area on google street maps, we cannot go back to 2004 to see what the community was like, but we can see that nearby is a underground station but no oyster card was found on the Wem tower women’s possession, but a bus ticket was found.

We know this bus ticket was purchased a news agents called Nilco at 223 seven sister road and the 7-day buss pass was issues at 7:03am between the 26th of October 2004, with the 7-day pass having 2 days remaining of travel. So, for reason many people plus myself believe the Wem tower woman was visiting the tower for a reason, some believe due to her shoes which were a black pair of sketchers with a zip and buckle on the side She may be an agency cleaner.

But it’s this piece of art that the Wem tower woman left behind that makes me think a little different and the fact she wasn’t found with any branded clothing to suggest an agency she may have worked for. No work id was found, no phone was found, and no purse was found although there was some money, jewellery and personal items found on or near to the Wem tower woman’s body. This doesn’t fully rule out theft of a phone I she had one or a purse/id and it should no way be an indicator that the Wem tower women’s possession had been stolen before her death, but it is a possibility, that I am willing to consider if there is any evidence to support the theory.

Going back to the painting the Wem tower woman took this on her journey, who was she going to show the painting too, could someone else have been in the building who she felt close enough to show her prized work?
The painting does look very cultural, and the use of colours do give me a somewhat African Caribbean vibes, the hollowed-out space feels like it needs another face, but like the Wem tower woman, who this is, is unknown. She may have been part of a local arts and crafts community, or her friends may have seen her work before, so for this reason, if you know anyone working in Wembley in 2004, this is your sign to share the Wem towers women’s face and painting so we can finally get her name.
She could have been there to finish the painting off but if she was a cleaner, I very much doubt this, and personally, I can’t see artists using a place of work you need public transport for as a place to relax and finish their art unless she had her own office space.
But her clothes tell a story that might fit the office space theory. The Wem tower woman was wearing numerous items on the day of her death which were
Maroon Bomber Jacket with a zip and fabric cuffs, the material was shiny/plastic appearance.

One black leather glove on right hand, we know it was October, so its normal to be wearing gloves in this weather, but it shows little time the Wem tower woman spent in the café that she hadn’t even gotten her gloves off before she made her decision.
Black polo neck jumper, thin material.

Claret style crew neck jumper.

Casual black trousers.

and a pair of black tights.
Although the Wem tower woman also wore layered clothing, this wasn’t in the manner accustomed to someone we would describe as homeless or a vagrant, her layered clothes seem to be a practical fashion choice to deal with the weather of daily travel.
footwear – boots – black – unknown – make ‘sketchers’, with zip and buckle on sides. These are the shoes theorised as those used by cleaners in the tower who worked with agencies, but I also recognise this outfit as one of new office worker, I have worked many office jobs and have worn similar layers and clothing to look smart and keep warm. Although the added layer of tights would have caused some overheating, I am known to wear leggings under trousers to keep warm in winter. So maybe the Wem tower woman was new to British weather and was trying to get accustomed to the harshness of the cold.
The shoes fit in with this also as they look smart but are also casual, if on a budget, these would be brilliant and go with a lot of office outfits. I also think the amount of layers disprove the woman was a cleaner as surely if she had to put on a bib as well, she would become hot really quick, unless she changed her clothing at the tower or she was so new to the job she didn’t get accustomed yet. October isn’t really the coldest of months for regulars on the British island but for those trying to get used to our climate, it’s just as bad as our coldest winters.
we know the Wem tower woman also wore

earring – 1 – stud in right ear, it is unknown if the Wem tower woman had both ears pierced or if the fall may have resulted in one earing going missing, but there could be some cultural reference to this.
ring – 1 – white/siler metal on ring finger on right hand (conch shell design), this ring has been described as those used as a sign of fertility, but considering the Wem tower woman’s clothing, it is also a stylish piece that again goes with a lot of clothing and due to the quality of the metal, it could also just be a piece of costume jewellery bought from Newlook, Primark and even a market stall.
watch – 1 – black strap silver face,
with the watch there seems to be no brand present, could she have visited local markets close to seven sister road?
ring – 1 – silver ring on little finger left hand, no wedding ring was found, meaning no sign of a Christian marriage but a wedding ring is not the only sign of marriage, it has been theroised that she may be married but you will have to wait until a bit later to know why that is.
I know I am not the only person who believes the Wem tower woman was at the tower that day for a reason, as the guardian reports
Working in the building and was there at the time, Lisa Hedderman was head of the contact centre for Loot, the free classified ads paper, lisa Hedderman was in a meeting at the time, on either the sixt or eith floor when the Wem tower woman fall into the river below. Sadly this was witness by Lisa heddermans personal assistant came running into the meeting ditressed to say the she literally threw herself on me,
Lisa Hedderman went on to say
“I remember people saying no one recognised her, that she didn’t work in the building.” Workers speculated she may have gone there with the aim of jumping. Certainly, if she had worked at one of the many businesses in the building, her manager or colleagues could have identified her. But if she picked the building at random, why take an oil painting with her, and how did she know the café was there? “Security was quite lax, but the café wasn’t the kind of place where you saw members of the public,” Hedderman says. “And how would you know there were no safety locks on the windows? Even in 2004, I think that was quite unusual on such a high floor.”
Another worker named Peter Munro, who worked as an editor at Loot said “We were never gathered together and told anything,” with Lisa Hedderman the head of the contact centre for loot mirror this by saying “I didn’t hear any more about it,” “We didn’t get interviewed. We didn’t see police in the building.”
Which says a lot about the police operation and support provided to those who witness such a distressing incident and how little skills or resources were used to try and identify the woman. It does seem they were asked if they knew the woman but the lack of local support due to the iccident leaves those effected disappointed and not very confident in there efforts to find who the Wem tower woman was.
But now we have a major update that could give us an indication of who this womanmight be and an opportunity to help solve this case. To me I think it is an awesome update and I am in awe once again at my favourite charity locate international.
I swear everytime I look there is something new, some new teqnique or case. They just keep getting better, better and better. It is so refresging to see a charity actively share these developments and I can only testify to how hard these people must be working in the background.
Getting back to the update, they have told us that they have had a witness come forward to has indicated the Wem tower woman may have been worried about her boyfriends health, the website doesn’t say where the unknown witness may have had this conversation with the Wem tower woman but they say it was a few weeks prior to the Wem tower woman’s suicide.
Could this be the reason the Wem tower woman was so distressed weeks later, could her boyfriend have passed during that time or could have his health have become even worse during that time?, did she come to this country with her boyfriend? And was this to seek asylum in some way?
We know the Wem tower woman was also a smoker a black disposable lihter was also found near by along with an empty packet of cigettes, she also had £5.20.
We also know she wasn’t in any noticeable bad health as those who looked after her in the mortuary thought it was striking someone in such good health had not been claimed so soon. Her teeth seem to be nice and well looked after and her hair was also well roomed into a small tight afro, she wore stylish clothes fitting for the area but not indicative of those worn by someone foreign unless you consider the layers of clothing’s as an indicator she may be new to the UK in 2004.
I do believe the Wem tower woman resided closely to the seven sister road area, if the unknown witness who says she may have seen the Wem tower woman in the weeks prior is to be believed then this may indicated again she had been visting the Wem tower for a reason but I think searching close to where she may have resided may unlock the clue to the Wem tower womans name. Although Locate international have raised some good ideas and questions in regard to agencies operating around the area of the Wem tower, but working with agencies myself I would look online and also in areas close to me, sometimes they can even come by word of mouth. But it is a great idea and a opportunity to find some leads, so if you know of an angencies that contracted at the Wem tower during 2004, then please contact locate international or the UKMPU with details provided in the description box of this video and pinned in the comments.
The Wem tower woman is described as afro Caribbean female, aged between 20 and 40 years old, she was thin and she was around 5 ft 1 ins – 5 ft 3 ins tall which is 157cm – 162cm , she had brown eyes.
We have so many details about the Wem tower woman and we still don’t have her name. The Wem tower woman was seemingly living a full and functioning life in Wembley and she clearly looked after herself, so if there is a reason why her name has not been brought forward, we need to theorise those and look for a solution.
We know suicide is a taboo, and while we may find it difficult why some people make these decisions, we can’t assume it’s due to her home life or cultural life but they are possibilities to consider. Along with the possibility the loved ones may not be able to report her name due to feelings of shame or for religious reasons, all these possibilities are not ruled out apart from the fact, no one is to blame for this horrible incident as no suspicious circumstances are theorised int his case.
I know Information can be reported anonymously to Locate international where they promise not to disclose your identity.
Hopefully If needed, the Wem tower woman can be named privately so we can move on to other cases. The whole goal of these videos is to not lay blame, shame or restrictions on those who may be struggling with there loved ones death, the goal is to give her name back. So please take a minute to think about a scenario as to why you wouldn’t give us someone’s name? you never know, it might unlock another level of clues.
Everyone on the missing persons unit website deserves their name, and while we won’t be able to shout them from the rooftops if it causes issues, we can truly lay them to rest and move resources over to other cases.
It is not known if DNA was taken from the WEM tower woman as in 2004, it was somewhat in it’s infancy and DNA databases were constantly evolving to deal with the amount a variables in case searches.
The Wem tower woman is Buried in Watford cemetery, where she still to this day remains without her name.
This has been a blank faces unidentified persons report, thank you very much for reading 🙂
