Reports from Staffordshire Police are coming in about an unidentified male found in Stoke-On-Trent.

It was Saturday 25 January after a body was found in a derelict school in Elgood Lane, Goldenhill.

Staffordshire Police say they have exhausted several measures to identify the Unknown male but to date have been unsuccessful. CCTV has been reviewed; DNA tests and other forensics have been performed but it is now Staffordshire Police need the publics help.

Through previous investigations the last known sighting of the man was on CCTV on High Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme on Thursday 2 January 2025.

The Unknown Male is described as approximately 40-50 years old, of a large build and with a bald head and grey beard. It seems by the featured image from this report by Staffordshire Police it shows the male has a Caucasian hand which may indicate he is a white male.

The unidentified male also wore a black Nike coat with a white hood, grey Nike tracksuit bottoms, light blue Nike trainers, a black cap and shoulder bag.

How did he die?

Staffordshire Police said “While we are still treating the death as unexplained, we have not found any suspicious circumstances”
