The Doe Network – The Doe Network is a Non-profit 100% volunteer organisation devoted to assisting investigating agencies in bringing closure to national and international cold cases concerning Missing & Unidentified Persons. It is our mission to give the nameless back their names and return the missing to their families.

INTERPOL – Our full name is the International Criminal Police Organization and we are an inter-governmental organization. We have 196 member countries, and we help police in all of them to work together to make the world a safer place.

To do this, we enable them to share and access data on crimes and criminals, and we offer a range of technical and operational support.

ICMP – The International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) is an intergovernmental organization tasked exclusively to work on the issue of missing persons.

Locate International – We are a charity dedicated to locating the missing and naming the unidentified, ensuring that every possible effort has been made to bring answers to families. We are the only UK charity assisting policing in England & Wales.

Missing Persons Global Response – The Missing Persons Global Response website is a platform to facilitate knowledge exchange, learning, and cooperation amongst practitioners working on the issue of missing persons worldwide.

It brings together content and resources contributed by the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, universities, research institutes, (i)NGOs, UN agencies, families associations, governments, donors, and other initiatives.

NameUS – The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) is a national centralized repository and resource center for missing, unidentified, and unclaimed person cases across the United States.

NamUs helps investigators match long-term missing persons with unidentified remains to resolve cases and bring resolution to families.

The Missing Migrants Project – Missing Migrants Project records since 2014 people who die in the process of migration towards an international destination, regardless of their legal status. As collecting information is challenging, all figures remain undercounts. The locations in most cases are approximate. Each number represents a person, as well as the family and community that they leave behind.

MISSING DOE EUROPE – A public database that profiles cases from missing people and unidentified people from all over Europe. This is merely a public vehicle for missing- and unidentified people who are all often forgotten too soon. With this public database we hope to be able to form the voice and eyes for those who can no longer speak or seek for their loved ones.

Unidentified Wiki – This wiki is dedicated to unidentified individuals (those deceased and alive) as well as formerly unidentified persons. The purpose of this wiki is to provide information and promote awareness for these individuals and not to solve such cases.

AUSTRALIA

National Missing Persons Australia – The National Missing Persons Coordination Centre (NMPCC) is a non-operational arm of the Australian Federal Police (AFP). The NMPCC was established in 2006 to drive national coordination in response to missing persons in Australia, and to complement the investigative role of state and territory police. Its mandate is to reduce the incidence and impact of missing persons in Australia and as a function of the AFP, the NMPCC is funded by the Federal Government.

Canada

Canada National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains – The National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains (NCMPUR) is Canada’s national centre that provides law enforcement, medical examiners and chief coroners with specialized investigative services in support of missing persons and unidentified remains investigations.

IRELAND

Garda Síochána Missing Persons – An Garda Síochána, Ireland’s National Police and Security Service, has its headquarters in the Phoenix Park. The Garda Commissioner is responsible for the general direction, management and control of An Garda Síochána and is appointed by the Government. The Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration is responsible to the Government for the performance of An Garda Síochána. Commissioner Justin Kelly has been the commissioner since September 2025.

Official Alaska State Website Missing Persons Clearinghouse – The Missing Persons Clearinghouse (MPC) falls under the Alaska Bureau of Investigation (ABI) and tracks all reported missing persons cases within Alaska. The MPC serves as the central repository for records regarding both juvenile and adult victims and serves as the gateway into various national missing persons databases. The MPC manages several computer-assisted programs that aid in the centralization of Missing Persons Clearinghouse information and information regarding unidentified human remains.

Arkansas  Missing Persons Search – Missing Persons Database

California Detailed Missing Persons Search – By making photographs of missing persons available, we seek to aid in the identification and recovery of missing persons. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, one in six missing children are recovered as a direct result of someone recognizing their photo and notifying authorities. We also offer resources on this website for locating missing persons and safeguarding your children.

The Charley Project – The Charley Project profiles over 16,000 “cold case” missing people mainly from the United States. It does not actively investigate cases; it is merely a publicity vehicle for missing people who are often neglected by the press and forgotten all too soon. A person must have been missing for at least one year to be listed; see the FAQ for additional information on the site, its goals, and its founder/administrator.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation Missing Persons – The Colorado Missing Person(s) Unit assists local law enforcement and other partner organizations in locating and recovering missing children and adults. The unit manages the Missing Person Alert Program in Colorado and functions as the Clearinghouse for the state of Colorado.

North Dakota Missing Persons – We provide the latest missing persons information to law enforcement officials, educators, and community members throughout the state of North Dakota. If you identify or have any information about a missing person, please contact your local law enforcement agency.

FBI – The FBI is an intelligence-driven, threat-focused national security organisation with both intelligence and law enforcement responsibilities. It is the principal investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Justice and a full member of the U.S. Intelligence Community. The FBI has the authority and responsibility to investigate specific crimes assigned to it and to provide other law enforcement agencies with cooperative services, such as fingerprint identification, laboratory examinations, and training. The FBI also gathers, shares, and analyses intelligence to support its own investigations and those of its partners, and to better understand and combat the security threats facing the United States.

Louisiana Repository for Unidentified and Missing Persons Information Program – The LA Repository for Missing and Unidentified Persons website provides a way to search Louisiana’s database of missing and unidentified people. View information about the Louisiana State Law that was enacted to create the Repository.

The Maine State Police Major Crimes Units Missing Persons – The Maine State Police Major Crimes Units often assist other law enforcement agencies with or fully investigate reports of missing persons, especially if suspicious circumstances exist. Our objective is to locate these missing individuals and pursue justice against those who caused their disappearance or death through criminal means. You will find information on many of the missing persons cases being investigated by the Maine State Police in this area of our website. The Mississippi Repository for Missing and Unidentified Persons – The Mississippi Repository for Missing and Unidentified Persons was developed to help identify, resolve, and archive Mississippi’s cases of missing and unidentified persons.

The website can be found at identifyLA.lsu.edu and anyone can browse and search the entries in the database.

US Montana Ministry of Affairs – Montana Missing Persons Database.

An official website of New York State, The New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse – The Missing Persons Clearinghouse is responsible for providing assistance to law enforcement agencies handling cases involving children, college students and vulnerable adults who have gone missing.

Clearinghouse staff members have extensive experience in law enforcement, training and information technology, and they provide investigative support services to local, state and national law enforcement, assistance to left-behind family members and community education programs.

Oregon state Missing Person Clearinghouse – The Oregon State Police (OSP) is a multi-disciplined organization charged with protecting the people, wildlife, and natural resources in Oregon. We enforce the traffic laws on the state’s roadways, investigate and solve crimes, conduct post-mortem examinations and forensic analysis, and provide background checks and law enforcement data. We regulate gaming, the handling of hazardous materials, and fire codes, and educate the public on fire safety and enforce fish, wildlife, and natural resource laws.

Oklahoma Unidentified subjects and missing persons – The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) has created a database called NamUs (National Missing and Unidentified Persons System – http://www.namus.gov/ ). The Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office is in the process of entering information for each unidentified person in Oklahoma into the NamUs system.  This information can be viewed by the public and direct contacts are included.  The DNA in the database is continually compared across the NamUs Unidentified and Missing Persons sites.

Utah Department for Public Safety – Missing Persons

The Washington State Patrol Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit (MUPU) – The Washington State Patrol Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit (MUPU) will provide a poster with photo for an active missing adult ONLY when requested by a family member/legal guardian or the law enforcement agency handling the investigation. The MUPU will provide a data packet for the requestor to fill out and provide essential information on the missing adult and will request the most recent, color, good quality digital photo to include on the poster. Once the packet is filled out and signed the MUPU can proceed with the poster and any other investigative assistance requested.
