Case Number: 06-025158
In todays we case we cover the man found in Coronation woods, linchfield, staffordshire on April 5th 1987. The historic case has been given new hope with the aid of forensic artist Hew Morrisons and the UK’s respected Charity Locate Internations after a new digital impression for the public has been generated.
The new image has given new life and personality to a case that has all hte hall marks to be solved. The man seems like someone you would see on the local high street and with this case having a local connection to myself I am proud to see the work of staffordshire police, locate international and Hew Morrison being shared over social media.

What Hapened?
On April 5th 1987 two men who were out hunting had sadly come across the body of a man that was hanging from a tree in Coronation Forrest, a small pocket of woodlan close to the A5 and the A38.

Locate international and Staffordshire police both have hope this case can be solved but it will need public support and intervention to bring new information to light, you coul dbe a neihbour, a friend, a family member or just someone who remembers what bus he got on. You could be that key that unlocks the case.
Some of the unidentified mans belongings paint a picture of a man that was acreature of habit, he disposable lighter suggest he may have been a smoker, his keys suggest he had a residence and the pens although disposable pens indicate he may have used the local ladbrookes betting shops in nearby areas. His clothing also gives me the impression that the unidentified man was well dressed on a regular basis, his green trilby hat seems like something he may have worn frequently along with his other clothing thaty mostly come from UK highstreet brands but of good quality.
He did have issues with his teeth as he only had two left at the bottom of his mouth, maybe he did see a dentist, but it is not uncommon for people in the uk to not frequent the dentist as it can be pricey for some.
